Bashir Ahmad Speaks After Fresh Appointment By Buhari

Former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad has broken his silence following his appointment as the Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital Communications.

GWG recalls that, Ahmad who was formerly President Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media had resigned his position to contest the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for Gaya, Ajingi, Albasu Federal Constituency of Kano State, but he lost the ticket.

However, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, confirmed a fresh appointment for Ahmad by President Buhari.

The letter of appointment by the SGF dated July 20, 2022, said the appointment took effect from July 19, 2022.

Reacting to the fresh appointment, Ahmad via his Twitter on Sunday, 14th of August expressed thanks to the President and promise a better service delivery.

First, he wrote: “This is an honour. Thank you Baba @MBuhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for finding me worthy again and again, this time as your Special Assistant on Digital Communications. I will continue being a good ambassador of your administration, Baba. ‘Alhamdulillah’!”

In another tweet, he wrote “Thank you, Baba Buhari. #WeAreBack!,” while sharing a collage picture of himself with the President,” Bashir Ahmad wrote on his new appointment from Buhari.
