Days after Atiku Abubakar expressed concern on his whereabouts amid nationwide over his ‘business trip’ Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has said he is not dead nor withdrawn from the 2023 presidential race using a seven seconds exercise video to prove his claim.

In the seven second video that nearly broke the internet on Sunday night, Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC presidential candidate decried insinuations of his death or immobility using the seven second video of himself on an exercise bicycle to prove his claim.

GWG.NG reports that concerns about Tinubu were fired a week ago when he unceremoniously postponed the inauguration of his Presidential Campaign Council, PCC and traveled out of the country. Handlers claimed at that time that he was travelling on a scheduled business trip.

However, the nature of his business trip was not given.

In his absence a peace agreement was signed by the major candidates in the presidential election and in his absence, his running mate stood in for him drawing criticisms from some stakeholders.

The clamour from some critics followed the similar absence of the APC candidate from the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA conference that was similarly graced by the major candidates.

With concerns about his absence, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar in a response to the call by Senator Ovie Omo-Agege that he should stepdown from the contest on the claim of having breached the zoning arrangement of his party, charged the Deputy Senate President to rather concern himself with the whereabouts of Tinubu.

Speaking through his spokesman, Charles Aniagwu, Atiku had told GWG.NG:

“I think he (Omo-Agege) should focus on solving the issues in his party and primarily helping Nigerians to locate the whereabouts of his candidate as Nigerians are still looking for him.”

Responding for the first time to Atiku and other critics, for the first time since he embarked on his business trip, Tinubu in a note attached to the video of the exercise video, said:

“Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign.

“Well… Nope.

“This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.”
