Mercy Johnson Explains Why She Now Avoids Romantic Scenes

Mercy Johnson-Okojie, an actress, has explained why she stopped taking roles that required her to play romantic scenes.

Mercy Johnson’s first movie ‘The Maid’ which brought her into limelight pulled her towards numerous moviemakers as she featured in numerous movies including comedy and romantic movies

The ace film star, who has appeared in different genres of movies including comedy, drama and romance, stated she needed to quit after getting married.

She said her hubby, Prince Odianosen Okojie, was not happy seeing her feature in such movies, making her to discontinue.

She also explained that she would not feature in romantic scenes anymore; as she has left such roles for younger colleagues in the industry.

The actress met her hubby for the first time in 2008 on a flight to France.

They eventually got married on August 27 2011 and have four kids, Purity, Henry, Angel and Divine-Mercy Okojie.
