Man Who Impregnated 13 Year-Old Daughter Says He Mistook Her For His Wife

A 39 year old man Mfon Jeremiah a resident of FIRRO Estate off Adesan, Mowe has told the police that he thought he was having sex with his wife when laid upon his 13 year old biological daughter and impregnated her.

Jeremiah who has now been arrested by men of Ogun state Police Command for the incestuous act GWG.NG reports is separated from his wife.

The suspect was arrested after the mother of the girl lodged a report at Mowe divisional headquarters who narrated how she discovered that her daughter was pregnant. According to her on interrogation the girl confessed that it was her father who impregnated her.

The girl was confirmed to be four months pregnant following tests at a local hospital.

fUpon the report, the DPO Mowe division, SP Folake Afeniforo, quickly detailed detectives to the suspect’s house where he was promptly arrested. 

Jeremiah on interrogation, confessed to having impregnated his daughter’s pregnancy. His alibi was that he was under a spell and that he was dreaming of having sex with his wife only to discover that he actually fell upon his daughter.

It was, however, not revealed if it was a one time eruption or if it was a repeated occurrence.

Meanwhile, Jeremiah has on the instruction of the Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, been transferred to anti human trafficking and child labour unit of the state Criminal Investigation Departments for further investigation and possible prosecution.
