Victor Osimhen, a Super Eagles forward, has become a favourite for Chelsea scouts.

Osimhen is the striker that the Blues are hoping could be their answer to a goal pumping machine that is presently lacking.

Manchester United was rumored to be interested in signing the Nigerian this summer, but he chose to stay with Serie A team Napoli.

Bayern Munich, another Bundesliga powerhouse, is a fan of the pacy striker.

The forward has already scored four goals in eight appearances for Napoli in all competitions.

Last season, the 23-year-old scored 14 goals in 27 league appearances for Luciano Spalletti’s side.

Osimhen has a contract with Napoli until 2025.

After being linked with a move for the 23-year-old during the previous summer transfer window, it appears that the forward’s agent has quashed any hopes of the Gunners pursuing the Nigerian in the near future.

Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, told Kiss Napoli about the player and his future: “It was Victor’s will to stay at Napoli and play in the Champions League that he won last year with his teammates.” Victor desired to have a successful season with Napoli, both in the league and in the Champions League.
