Critics Mock, Supporters Mum As Tinubu Vows To Bring High Prices During Bayelsa Rally

Tinnubu supplementary election

Critics of the All Progressives Congress, APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu were having a laugh on him on Friday as the video of his campaign outing in Yenagoa, Bayelsa where he promised to bring high prices made the rounds of twitter.

The faux pas was another comic addition from Tinubu who has gained a reputation for verbal gaffes in his campaign outings.

When he flagged off the campaign last month, Tinubu to the shock of party members prayed for the PDP, and in Delta last week he proclaimed that Senator Ovie Omo-Agege would become governor of Niger Delta State.

In Yenagoa, Bayelsa State on Thursday, Tinubu while speaking to enthusiastic party supporters vowed to bring high prices to the country. Even more, Tinubu was also being mocked on Twitter after a difficult time pronouncing technology.

He said:

Let us retiae-recreate  Techno-LoLiCal-Up” — Tinubu drops another gigantic blunder 🙆🏾‍♂️

The faux pas was trending on Friday in twitter under the hashtag, #TinubuinBayelsa and many Nigerians were also amusing themselves with the claim by Tinubu to sweep away “those that lied to you.”

GWG.NG gathered some of the reactions of the Tinubu gaffe in Bayelsa.

“Sweep them away, enough is enough. They lied to you, tell them enough is enough” ~

Nigerian Spartan @multimeverse

“Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” Whatever that dwells in a man’s heart is what speaks. You might think it’s a blunder but hmm. Sha be wise! #TinubuInBayelsa otedola #JusticeforUNNstudents crocs governors

Ocular Priest  @Dr_chazduke

Jokes aside, I consider anyone supporting Tinubu as an enemy of the Nigerian and Nigerians. What is “Let us retiae-recreate Techno-LoLiCal-Up”  #TinubuInBayelsa

A lone Tinubu supporter, however, chided critics who he identified to be mostly Obidients to have left out selling their ideas to now focusing on the foibles of his candidate.
