How I Was Sexually Harassed By Unilag Lecturer – Denrele Recounts

Popular Nigerian media personality and actor, Denrele Edun, has shared his experience of almost being sexually harassed by a lecturer in the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

Speaking on the ‘Tea With Tay’ podcast, Denrele narrated how the lecturer mistook him for a girl and attempted to get sexually involved with him.

According to Denrele, the lecturer was always very nice and friendly to him, often inviting him to his office. Believing that the lecturer was being kind, Denrele visited him in his office to submit an assignment, only to be praised for his beauty.

However, things took a disturbing turn when the lecturer asked Denrele to perform oral sex on him, which he promptly refused. Denrele admitted to feeling scared, frantic, and confused at the time, as he did not know if the lecturer would fail him if he revealed that he was not a girl.

“I got harassed in a lecturer’s office because he thought I was a girl and his course was one of those general courses.

Every time I wanted to submit assignment, he would tell me to come to his office. I thought he was being nice and when I went to his office he was praising my beauty (He said fine girl, come in) and I was like, if I tell him I am not a girl, he would fail me.

He told me to seat on his lap and he told me to give him blow job. I was scared, frantic, perplexed, everything. It was a roller coaster of emotion”.
