Super Eagles players have threatened to boycott their next 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone over unpaid bonuses and allowances.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) failed to pay some of the outstanding bonuses and allowances as promised ahead of the recent double-header against Guinea-Bissau.

The players are now ready to boycott the game against the Leone Stars to show their displeasure over the action of the NFF.

The Super Eagles are owed bonuses and allowances for at least 19 matches running over two years.

The encounter against Sierra Leone is slated for Sunday, June 11, 2023.

Jose Peseiro’s side tops Group A with nine points from four games.

A draw against Sierra Leone will be enough for the three-time African champions to seal a place in Cote d’Ivoire 2023.
