How Mercy Johnson Saved Me From Drowning, Actress Hadiza Abubakar

Nollywood actress Hadiza Abubakar recently revealed how popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson saved her life.

The actress took to her Instagram story to share what happened to her on set while shooting a movie and how she nearly lost her life.

According to her, she was given a role where she was supposed to fall inside a swimming pool.

However during the scene, she started drowning but the movie directors and others seated around thought she was acting until Mercy Johnson drew their attention that she was losing her breath.

She wrote;

“Almost drowned while filming on set yesterday, but everyone thought I was acting. It dawned on them after some seconds, and I was losing my breath. Thanks to Aunty Mercy Johnson and the stuntman who noticed after some seconds and helped me out.”
