President Muhammadu Buhari is to depart for London, United Kingdom, on Wednesday, to attend the coronation of Charles III and his wife, Camilla, as His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort of the United Kingdom, respectively.

GWG.ng reports that the coronation ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 6 with Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage as one of the acts scheduled to feature.

It is not known if Buhari has ever interacted with Tiwa Savage and the coronation could be an opportunity for the two of them to have a first interaction as the president exits after eight years in office.

In addition to attending the coronation, President Buhari will also participate in a Commonwealth Summit for Presidents and Heads of Government of Commonwealth countries on Friday, May 5.

The Commonwealth Secretariat is taking advantage of the gathering of leaders in London to host the summit, which will focus on the future of the Commonwealth and the role of youth.
