Outrage As DSS Labels Those Fighting For Emefiele’s Freedom As IPOB Lawyers

Outrage was swelling on Tuesday evening after the Department of State Services, DSS labelled the 60 lawyers who filed contempt proceedings against the Director-General of the agency Yusuf Bichi over the continued detention of Mr Godwin Emefiele as IPOB lawyers.

The outrage was coming from all sections of the polity including stakeholders who had in the past opposed one another in the civil space.

GWG.ng reports that a group of lawyers led by Barrister Maxwell Okpara had on Monday filed contempt proceedings to send the Bichi to jail for breaching judicial pronouncements against the continued incarceration of Emefiele.
