Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P, has expressed his frustration with Nigeria’s legal system, describing it as a shame to study law in a country with such lawlessness.

Recall that after the just concluded judgment of the Presidential Election Petition Court which affirmed Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s election, many artistes and celebrities took to social media to air their views about the judgment.

While some like Yul Edochie supported the judgment, celebrities like Davido totally opposed the PEPC judgment as he said that only rugged politicians can win an election in Nigeria.

In his own view, Peter Okoye vented his anger, stating, “Imagine studying law in a lawless country.”

Also, in what seems like a follow-up post, Peter wrote on his Twitter: “When the law no longer protects you from the corrupt. but protects the corrupt from you you know your nation is doomed.” It is well.

This statement from Mr. P may be connected to the recent decision of the presidential election petition tribunal.

It’s worth noting that before the present assertions by Peter Okoye over the study of law in Nigeria, that he had in a prior incident criticized certain banks for inadvertently assisting scammers in using his name for fraudulent activities.
