Fubara Moves Two Pro-Wike Commissioners

Fubara commissioners moved

Two commissioners in the Rivers State cabinet aligned to Federal Capital Territory, FCT, minister, Mr Nyesom Wike have been moved from their positions by Governor Siminalayi Fubara, GWG.ng reports.

The two commissioners, Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor and Isaac Kamalu, GWG.ng reports were part of the commissioners who resigned from their positions at the onset of the crisis between Governor Fubara and Mr Wike but were recalled to their offices following the intervention of President Bola Tinubu.

The Governor, in a statement on Tuesday night announcing the movements issues by the Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, redeployed the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General of the state, Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor to the Ministry of Special Duties (Governor’s Office).

Fubara also moved the Commissioner for Finance, Isaac Kamalu, to the Ministry of Employment Generation and Economic Empowerment.

The two men were asked to immediately hand over to their respective permanent secretaries.

Danagogo said: “They are to hand over to their respective permanent secretaries immediately as this deployment takes immediate effect. All had over processes must be completed immediately.” 

GWG.ng reports that besides the two Rivers State commissioners moved by Fubara, that the commissioner of works, Dr Alabo George-Kelly is also reported to have quietly resigned.
