Chelsea unbeaten Spurs

Chelsea smashed Tottenham Hotspurs its first defeat of the season in the London Derby late on Monday with a 4-1 defeat making a memorable return by Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino to his former team.

GWG.ng reports that besides smashing the unbeaten record of Spurs, Chelsea also stopped the home team from recording a memorable five straight victories, a record last set when Pochettino was manager of Spurs.

The Chelsea victory was, however, helped by two red cards served on the Spurs team.

Spurs had gone ahead early in the game through a sixth minute goal Kulusevski an equalizer by Palmer through a penalty in the 35th minute made it even at half time. That was after the first red card issued to Romero in the 33rd minute.

Another red card in the 55th minute on Udogie worsened the fate of Spurs who, however, soldiered on until Nicolas Jackson through a hat trick in the 75th, 94th and 97th minutes broke the back of Spurs.
