Imo police ballot snatching

A Twitter user with the username drpenking has posted a video capturing a tense moment during the Governorship election in Imo State that showed a police officer being accused of ballot box snatching. In the video, angry voters were seen confronting a police officer in uniform, accusing him of attempting to snatch a ballot box.

According to information shared by drpenking, the police officers were allegedly attached to Chief Charles Amadi, an APC Chieftain in Ikeduru LGA of Imo state. The accusation suggests that these officers were ordered by Chief Charles Amadi to snatch ballots at the Amakohia Ikeduru Collation Center, where APC reportedly lost.

In the posted video, the voters managed to capture one police officer, while others fled the scene. The incident raises concerns about the integrity of the election process and the potential involvement of security personnel in electoral malpractice.
