In New Scandal Female Customs Officer Caught Extorting Traveller At Airport (Video)

In a disturbing video making rounds on social media, a female Nigerian Customs officer stationed at one of the country’s international airports was caught on camera in an extortion assault against a traveler.

The footage, shared widely on X (formerly known as Twitter), unveiled a troubling encounter between the female customs official and the agitated traveler.

In the video, the customs officer initially demanded a sum of 5,000 naira from the traveler, who asserted that he had no funds to spare. Undeterred, the officer reduced her demand to 3,000 naira, prompting a tense exchange between the two. The traveler eventually capitulated and offered 1,000 naira to the customs official.

What unfolded next was a heated argument, with the customs officer expressing dissatisfaction with the N1,000 offered claiming it to be insufficient. The traveler, on the other hand, maintained a calm demeanor, insisting that he didn’t want to be disrespectful as he urged the female customs official at the airport to leave him alone.

The video was shared with a plea for it to go viral, accompanied by a call for authorities to address the alleged extortion. The post reads, “See Nigerian Customs!!!! Please let this video go viral so that the authority may be aware of the situation. We must fix Nigeria together!!”
