In a poignant video message, Debbie Shokoya clarified that her intention was not to seek pity but rather to share her testimony, emphasizing the prevalence of maternal mortality where women lose their lives during or after childbirth.
Expressing gratitude for her own survival, Debbie Shokoya acknowledged that while her pregnancy didn’t unfold as planned, she trusts it went according to God’s plan, and she is immensely thankful. She conveyed resilience in the face of pain and setbacks, asserting her strength over life’s challenges.
In a remarkable twist, Debbie took the opportunity of the pregnancy saga to announce her upcoming movie, “IRIN AYANMO,” which encapsulates her journey as a woman and actress. Notably, she filmed the movie while pregnant, fulfilling a personal aspiration, despite the unfortunate loss.
The actress expressed her appreciation for the support of her husband, whom she referred to as her better half, and hinted at the profound and impactful narrative presented in her forthcoming project. Titled “IRIN AYANMO,” the film is produced by Debbie Shokoya, directed by Abey Jomo, and will be exclusively available on Libra TV.
