Amidst the unfolding drama of “The Real Housewives of Lagos” Season 2, Faith Morey has candidly shared her perspective on her interactions with fellow cast member Iyabo Ojo.

In an interview with Arise TV, Morey delved into various incidents that transpired during the show, highlighting a particularly contentious moment in the first episode where Ojo inadvertently stepped on her dress with a long train. Ojo later clarified that this was an attempt to create a spectacle for the show, offering an apology for the incident.

Joining the cast in the second season, Morey has been outspoken about her views on self-love and friendships within the show. She articulated, “I’m not in the business of making friends. If I find one friend (which I ended up making two friends on the show) it’s a plus for me. But I love myself.” Despite causing some friction with her self-assured approach, Morey questioned why her self-confidence should be a source of concern for others.

The reality star also faced criticism from Ojo for not speaking her native language, Ikwerre, leading to accusations of being “fake.” Morey defended herself by explaining the linguistic diversity of Port Harcourt, her hometown, and emphasized her fluency in pidgin, the primary means of communication there.

Further addressing her relationship dynamics, Morey clarified her stance on Tania Omotayo, whom she had previously referred to as “a puppet” during a heated debate on the season finale. She explained that her opinion of Omotayo evolved over time, highlighting differences in behavior when alone versus in a group setting.

When queried about her overall relationship with Ojo, Omotayo, and Chioma “Goodhair” Ikowku, Morey’s response was dismissive: “I didn’t pay attention, and I think the feeling was mutual.” This interview offers insights into the complexities of the relationships within the show and sheds light on Morey’s unapologetic approach to self-affirmation amidst the Real Housewives drama.
