In a significant milestone for the nation, President Bola Tinubu has officially signed the N28.7 trillion 2024 Budget into law.

The ceremony at the Presidential Villa, Abuja was attended

by key figures, including the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Tajudeen Abbas.

The event also saw the presence of high-ranking officials such as the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Abubakar; and the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu.

Notable figures in attendance also included the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje; and Chairman of the Senate Appropriation Committee, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, among others.

The signing of the budget marks a crucial step in the fiscal planning for the year 2024, setting the stage for the implementation of various projects and initiatives outlined in the financial plan.

As President Tinubu puts pen to paper, the nation awaits the impact of the budget on key sectors and the overall trajectory of Nigeria’s economic development in the coming year.
