A Nigerian Uber driver, identified as @bkareem052, has taken to social media to call out popular singer Teni for not tipping him during the two occasions he picked her up in Los Angeles.

The Uber driver shared his grievances in response to a tweet from Teni urging Mummy Zee to send her account details for financial support.

In his tweet, @bkareem052 revealed that he played Teni’s music during the rides and spent his own money on data to support her, but she didn’t leave a tip. He expressed disappointment, highlighting that despite the short distances of the rides, he expected a gesture of appreciation.

The Uber driver emphasized that his intention was not to come off as entitled but to shed light on the lack of gratitude despite his efforts to support Teni’s music. He also mentioned an instance where she allegedly entered his car in a disheveled state.

As the call-out gained attention, the Uber driver clarified that his concern was about the lack of appreciation rather than financial need. He criticized the singer for tipping someone who cooked for her husband while allegedly neglecting to tip an Uber driver.

The complaints of the Uber driver which came after Teni requested Mummy Zee to send her account number is, however, bound to echo with some who may see his conduct as a sense of entitlement.
