Lady Speaks On Pains Family Went Through After Sister’s Fiance Called Off Wedding After Expensive Preparations (Video)

A Nigerian lady has shared a heartbreaking emotional video capturing painful experiences her family went through after her sister’s fiance called off their wedding after impregnating her and despite heavy expenses made towards the wedding preparations.

The video captures moments the lady’s pregnant sister and the entire family went shopping for wedding clothes, souvenirs, drinks and other wedding items just before the wedding was called off. Another part of the video captures the entire family in painful uncontrollable tears after the wedding was called off.

The lady who shared the video said that she initially intended to share the video for content but it didn’t happen.

She began her narration, “After planning, arranging and everything for this wedding, it didn’t happen. My family went through disgrace, pain; I actually saw my mom hurt so much after selling clothes to people; after collecting money for Asoebi girls. My mom was tested, we cried, prayed so much. We lost money; lots of expenses. It was not easy to get back but God. We bought drinks,  cow, paid caterers, paid for decoration; done everything”.

“The groom’s family had story everyday, my sister cried till her leg started swelling so heavily, her bp was very high, we never stopped praying. Seeing all these pictures hurt my feelings because it was easy for a man to impregnate you but not easy to marry you. I couldn’t advise her because I do not know what to say.

She continued, “We spent too much to forget, I can never pray for this kind of pain to happen to my enemy. I cried so bitterly, I was hurt, my family was cheated, we had good hearts but God knows best. We bought baby things, we were so ready to meet a new member of our family. She laboured for good 12 hours in pain.

“We couldn’t sell all the drinks we bought. You can still see it in this video.  Even if he wanted to pay back all the money we spent, N1.5m will not be enough to pay for the trauma, pain, shame, and tears. They actually played with our mental health”.

The lady thanked God for sister baby who is now 3 months old.

“I am sure the mother of this child can never forget her pains but if she does, we can never forget because we were never fools and can never be fools. If we had lost her through the pain, the father of this child would have moved on” she said.
