Presidency defends Tinubu Sons on Qatar trip

Son of President Bola Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu has pleaded with Nigerians to endure the present hardship in the country with a post that emerged as protest rocked Ibadan on Monday morning.

He stated that the decisions and policies but in place by his father the president should have been made years ago.

GWG.ng reports that Seyi Tinubu’s post emerged on Monday morning as protest rocked Ibadan, the political capital of the Southwest with protesters lamenting the growing hardship in the country.

He also expressed hope that Nigeria has a bright future despite the difficulties that exist presently.

He wrote, “There is no joy in seeing the people of this nation shoulder burdens that should have been shed years ago.

“I wish today’s difficulties did not exist. But we must endure if we are to reach the good side of our future.”

GWG.ng reports that the plea of the president’s son for the people to endure the pains of the reforms conceived by his father’s administration has not been heeded hence the resort to open protest in Ibadan.

Seyi Tinubu was a leading figure in mobilising the youths in the election that brought his father and undoubtedly sees himself as owing the people an explanation for the pains they are facing.
