Army Recovers Bodies Of 14 Operatives Killed In Ambush In Okuama Community In Delta
Military operatives of the Joint Task Force under the supervision of the General Officer Commanding 6 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Jamal Abdussalam, have recovered 14 bodies of military officers and soldiers killed in an ambush at Okuama community, in the Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Some of the recovered corpses according to Channels Television were believed to have been beheaded while the stomachs and hearts of others were ripped off.
This was as the bodies of the Commanding Officer and two Majors killed were found floating by the River bank as others were separated and found on land at the NDDC jetty in the coastal Delta community.

Reports said that the entire communities in Bomadi and Ughelli south Local Government Areas of Delta State had been totally cordoned off by operatives of the 6 Division of the Nigerian Army, Port Harcourt that also oversees the 63 Brigade in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
The Chief of Defence Staff, General Chris Musa, has ordered a probe into the tragic killings of the four senior officers and 12 soldiers.
