Narrating the terrifying experience, one passenger shared, “We were traveling with Ifesinachi Motors to the East for Easter celebration when we were attacked by criminals in Ijebu Ode along the Ore/Benin expressway. They robbed us of all our belongings, some were even stripped half-naked. They then locked us inside the bus and set it ablaze. Fortunately, we managed to escape, but we lost everything.”

Another passenger recounted, “The attack occurred around 2 am, and we were informed that robbers were on the road. However, the conductor urged the driver to continue, leading us into the robbers’ ambush. After robbing us, they callously set the vehicle ablaze, leaving us stranded with injuries and shattered belongings.”

Despite attempts to reach the spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, Odutola Omolola, for comment, there was no response.
