‘Will EFCC Treat Bobrisky As Man Or Woman?’ Nigerians Ask As Reactions Trail Arrest

Following the arrest of Nigerian Crossdresser and self-proclaimed Mummy of Lagos, Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky,  by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Nigerians have taken to their social media spaces to react.

According to the EFCC, Bobrisky was arrested and detained, over abuse of naira, spraying of naira notes and currency mutilation.

Spokesperson for the EFCC, Dele Oyewale, confirming the arrest, also disclosed that Bobrisky would be charged to court.

Oyewale said, “Bobrisky is with us. He was arrested last night in Lagos, and he is at our Lagos command. We arrested him for alleged abuse of naira notes, spraying of nara notes, and currency mutilation, among others.

“We are very serious about restoring the dignity of the naira. Though our investigation is still ongoing, but he will definitely be charged to court soon.”

Given the past controversies surrounding Bobrisky,  Netizens are left to wonder if the Crimes Commission would handle Bobrisky as a man or woman while in detention.
