Jnr Pope: Controversy As Precious Offurum’s Family Refuses To Exhume Body Despite Crowdfunding Efforts (Video)

The family of Precious Offurum, the sound engineer who lost his life in a boat accident, has refused to exhume his body from the riverside despite receiving financial assistance from kind-hearted individuals.

Recall that Precious’ blind mother had taken to social media to appeal for help to bring her son’s body back to their state for burial. The emotional plea prompted a crowdfunding effort, with many generous individuals contributing to support the family.

However, according to Nollywood actor Stanley Ontop, who shared an update on the situation, the father of the deceased has declined to exhume the body, citing traditional beliefs. Despite receiving the donated funds, the father insists that exhuming the body goes against his cultural values.
