“Jungle Don Mature,” Strong Reactions From Rivers As Fubara Speaks On Wike Probe (Video)

Nigerians have taken to social media to react to the decision of Governor Simi Fubara to probe the immediate past administration of Mr Nyesom Wike.
The reactions came after the new governor and his former godfather fell out almost irretrievably following months of discord.
Speaking after inaugurating the new attorney general of the state, Dagogo Iboroma, SAN
Speaking at the inauguration, Fubara said:
“The brand new attorney general of our dear state! Why are we bringing you in at this very critical time? You have a big task!
“As it is today, in the local parlance, they say the jungle has matured. We will be setting a panel of inquiry to investigate the affairs of governance. So, brace up, I am not going back on it.”
Netizens are differing on the development with some expectedly welcoming the probe as a move to supposedly quieten Wike and his forces that have laid siege to Fubara.
Others, however, alleged that Fubara as attorney-general during the Wike administration will not be divorced from the issues that may emerge from the probe. Still others saw Wike and Fubara as part of the conspiracy they claimed denied Labour Party from expressing itself in the presidential and governorship elections.
