60-Year-Old Nigerian Sentenced to 34 Years In Prison for Serial Rape In UK

A 60-year-old Nigerian pastor, Michael Oluronbi, has been sentenced to 34 years in prison in the UK for multiple counts of rape and sexual abuse of members of his church, including children.

The victims were subjected to “spiritual baths” under the guise of cleansing them of evil spirits, but instead, were repeatedly raped by Oluronbi on 88 separate occasions.

Some victims became pregnant multiple times, and Oluronbi’s wife, Juliana, was complicit in covering up the crimes by arranging for some of the pregnancies to be terminated. She was sentenced to 11 years in prison for her role in the abuse.

The investigation revealed that Oluronbi had been perpetrating these heinous crimes since the 1980s, and he was finally arrested at Birmingham Airport while attempting to flee the country for Nigeria.

Both Michael and Juliana Oluronbi will be listed on the sex offenders’ register for life, and their names will be known to the public as serial predators who exploited the trust of their church members for their own twisted desires.
