Barrister Olumide Braithwaite, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and son of the late elder statesman, Tunji Braithwaite, has miraculously survived a horrific car accident in Abuja.

According to eyewitnesses, Braithwaite’s Toyota Hilux pickup van was involved in a head-on collision with an armored bullion van around the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) headquarters in the Garki area of Abuja on Saturday morning.

The accident occurred around 9 am, and Braithwaite lost consciousness at the scene. However, swift emergency services rushed him to Garki Hospital, where he regained consciousness and is currently receiving treatment.

In a statement released on Sunday, the family confirmed that Braithwaite is now in a stable condition and responding well to treatment. The medical team is optimistic about his full recovery.

The family expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and well wishes from friends, colleagues, and the public. They requested privacy during this time as Braithwaite focuses on his recovery, and promised to provide further updates as necessary.

Braithwaite, a member of the APC’s presidential media campaign team, is a well-known figure in political circles, and his survival of the auto accident has been met with relief and gratitude from many.”
