Social media was on Wednesday praising the resilience of Mr Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Communication and Strategy after he had been publicly ridiculed by his colleague, Chief Ajuri Ngelale the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity for communicating lies.
GWG.ng reports that contrary to the claim of Ngelale that the president would not be visiting the National Assembly on the first anniversary of his presidency, President Tinubu made a detour to the National Assembly complex during which he delivered a brief remark to the joint sitting of the lawmakers.
In his address, President Tinubu hailed the lawmakers for their strength of character in partnering him in his continuing efforts in advancing the country.
The visit of the president brought a twist to the spectacle of the face-off between Onanuga and Ngelale over the celebration of the first anniversary of the president in office.
GWG.ng had reported that Onanuga had despite the taunts and mocks from oppositionists and his critics refused to pull down the tweet he made that the president would be visiting the National Assembly complex.
Ngelale’s statement that the president would not be visiting the National Assembly caused oppositionists to make ridicule of Onanuga.
