Nigeria World Cup Qualification In Danger After 1-1 Draw With South Africa

For the third consecutive time South Africa has survived Nigeria at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium as the Super Eagles forced the Bafana Bafana to a 1-1 draw in the World Cup qualifier.
GWG.ng reports that the result leaves Nigeria at the third position in the group putting the prospects for the World Cup qualification on a knife-edge.
South Africa took the lead in the 29th minute through Themba Zwane and Nigeria drew level early in the second half through Fisayo Dele-Basiru in the 46th minute.
GWG.ng football editor reports that Nigeria had the greater possession but was able to seal the match with a decider.
