Nigerians Defend Moses Bliss Over Alleged N7m Ministration Fee

Published

Freely you have received, freely give as Jesus commanded does not rhyme well with many Nigerians who are coming to the defence of gospel artiste, Moses Bliss following a claim that he is charging N7m for ministration

Joshua, seemingly disappointed by the high fee, suggested that event organizers and churches should instead invite popular artiste Olamide for ministration implying that such an alternative would draw an even larger crowd than Moses Bliss or other gospel ministers.

Joshua tweeted, “I was told you need N7 million to invite Moses Bliss for ministration; they should kuku invite Olamide instead, make he come sing ‘baba mo ro wo re ninu aye mi…’ church go even over full.”

The tweet sparked a heated debate, with many social media users coming to Moses Bliss’ defense over the alleged charge for ministration. Supporters argued that the gospel singer, like any other artiste, has financial obligations and deserves to be compensated fairly for his services.

GWG.ng reports that this incident recalls a similar controversy last year involving gospel musician Mercy Chinwo. Allegations surfaced that Chinwo charged N10 million for guest appearances, prompting a reaction from Nigerian Reverend Father Chinenye Oluoma. The Catholic priest from the Abuja Archdiocese criticized the high fees demanded by gospel musicians, lamenting the increasing costs associated with religious worship.
