Nationwide Protest

In a bid to maintain order and ensure public safety, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the Alausa police station in Lagos has addressed the gathering of protesters.

The DPO has respectfully requested that the demonstrators relocate to Gani Fawehinmi Park, citing that Alausa is not the designated location for protests.

The DPO’s appeal comes as protesters began to assemble at the Alausa location, calling for an end to bad governance and improved living conditions. By redirecting the protesters to the designated venue, the police aim to prevent any potential disruptions to the surrounding area and ensure a peaceful expression of grievances.

Gani Fawehinmi Park has been designated as a safe space for citizens to express their opinions and exercise their right to peaceful assembly. The police are working to maintain a balance between allowing citizens to voice their concerns and ensuring public safety.

The protesters are expected to make their way to Gani Fawehinmi Park, where they will continue to advocate for change.
