Despite the ongoing rift with his twin brother Paul, Peter Okoye has shown that family comes first.

The singer recently took a break from his busy schedule to reconnect with his brother’s children and ex-wife, Anita Okoye, during a visit to Atlanta.

In a series of heartwarming photos shared on social media, Peter was seen spending quality time with his wife Lola and their two children, Cameron and Aliona. Joining them were Paul’s three children and their mother, Anita. The photos captured joyful moments that highlighted the importance of family, with Peter captioning one of the posts, “Family time. Happy Sunday to you all.”

GWG.ng reports that the reunion comes amid renewed tension between the famous Psquare duo. The brothers have reportedly fallen out again, with the discord allegedly stemming from their elder brother, Jude Okoye, who is accused of diverting joint funds.

In an interview, Paul Okoye opened up about the strained relationship with Peter, revealing that Peter had him and their older brother, Jude, arrested by the commission in December 2023. However, Paul stated that after a thorough investigation, he was cleared of all allegations.

Responding to Paul’s claims, Peter set the record straight, explaining that he had only filed a petition against Jude after discovering that funds were being diverted into a secret account shared between Jude and his wife. He clarified that he never intended for Paul to be arrested, emphasizing that his primary concern was the mismanagement of their joint finances.

Peter also expressed his frustration over Paul’s decision to side with Jude instead of working together to reclaim their status as one of Africa’s top music acts. He further accused Paul of consistently disrespecting him, his family, and his contributions to their musical career.

The feud has sparked reactions from various celebrities. Media personality Do2dtun weighed in, noting that no family is perfect and urging fans to appreciate the brothers for their artistic legacy rather than their personal conflicts. Talent manager Paulo Okoye called for peace, expressing sadness over the split and reminding everyone of the fleeting nature of life. Activist Verydarkman also shared his hope for reconciliation, stressing that the twins are inseparable and should find a way to mend their relationship.

As fans and well-wishers continue to express their support, the hope remains that the Okoye brothers will eventually put their differences aside and reunite both as family and as the iconic musical duo that brought joy to millions.
