An Abuja-based farmer, Akomolafe Bankole who is also an avid supporter of President Bola Tinubu and his main man in the FCT, Nyesom Wike was on Monday morning being mocked after his N150m poultry farm was destroyed by operatives of the Federal Capital Development Authority, FCDA.

GWG.ng had reported how Akomolafe Bankole lamented the destruction of his farm without prior notice despite having a Certificate of Occupancy for the land in the Lokogoma area of the FCT.

He had posted thus:

GWG.ng reports that while many were quick to sympathise with him over the perceived recklessness of the authorities, some were able to search out his online trajectory with the revelation of how he had been an avid supporter of the Tinubu administration and Wike in particular.

A twitter user was quick to bring out an old tweet where he gave his endorsement to the demolitions in Lagos.

GWG.ng gathered some of the posts that followed his outcry

The Law; The Bench🧜🏽‍♀️@Jadesolapearl

Heard you support the present government and you have in fact recently lauded Wike’s work. People like you always think you’ll be isolated from miscarriage of the rule of law. Congratulations or sorry to you.

Peter OBI kept saying that the rule of law is the most important intangible asset of development. It is the lack of the rule of law that caused this.

The rule of law no longer guides government agencies. What guides them is toutism.

Nothing to see here bro. Just Wike doing his job in Abuja, (just like Tokunbo Wahab when he went destroying people’s houses and making them homeless and you saluted him). You don’t have to be his (Wike’s) fan. But he is surely showing working.  Guess what? I love it!!! 🤩

Remarkably, the demolition victim, Akomolafe Bankole was outed to be a member of the PDP who in the past reportedly mocked Peter Obi for leaving the party.

There was, however, a sprinkling of support from some Twitter users.
