First Lady Intervenes In Case Of 400 S3x Tapes Of Prominent Women
Equatorial Guinea first lady Constancia Mangue Obiang has responded to the scandal around Baltasar Ebang Engonga Director General of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF) who is accused of sleeping with more than 300 prominent women in the country and keeping over 400 of tapes of his sexual encounters.
The First Lady expressed her disapproval in a meeting with Prime Minister Manuel Osa Nsue just as the Equatorial Guinea government has formally removed Baltasar Ebang Engonga from his position.
This action was taken after around 400 explicit videos involving Engonga with prominent women in the country were discovered. President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo officially ordered the dismissal, confirmed by Real Equatorial Guinea under Decree No. 118/2024, dated November 4.
The decree cited Engonga’s dismissal as due to alleged professional misconduct and behavior that did not align with the standards of his public office.
The scandal gained attention after videos reportedly showing him in compromising situations with influential women and relatives began circulating on social media, sparking outrage.
First Lady Constancia Mangue Obiang responded to the scandal by expressing her disapproval in a meeting with Prime Minister Manuel Osa Nsue. She voiced her concerns for the privacy and dignity of women in Equatorial Guinea and called on the government to act quickly to protect them.
Through her Press Office, the First Lady released a statement on Facebook, emphasizing the need to protect women’s rights and privacy in the digital age. She urged for measures to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all women, highlighting that while progress has been made in promoting gender equality, more work is needed to prevent incidents that undermine women’s dignity and safety.
