Ghanaian-Nigerian actress Yvonne Okoro has revealed that she prefers Nigerian men over Ghanaian men.

Yvonne Okoro shared that her affection for Nigerian men goes beyond their generosity, highlighting their romantic nature as well.

In an appearance on the Ghanaian TV show ‘Showbiz 360’, hosted by Majid Michel, Okoro opened up about her views on relationships. She explained that while money is important, love and affection are key factors in her ideal partner.

She stated, “Nigerian men or Ghanaian men? Nigerian men are better. I didn’t say Nigerian men because of money. That’s not the only thing. Money is there but love, affection is very important. Because if they give me money and there’s no love and they’re very disrespectful, I wouldn’t want that. I want the whole package. That’s my kind of man. I want everything.”

Yvonne Okoro, who was born in Tamale, Ghana, to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother, has enjoyed a successful career in both Nollywood and Ghollywood films.

GWG.ng reports that the views of Yvonne Okoro are bound to escalate the continuing rivalry between Nigeria and Ghana which has seen nationalities squabble over all manner of things and most famously over the quality of the famous Jollof rice prepared by the citizens of the two countries.
