Popular On-Air Personality (OAP) Do2dtun has come to the defense of comedian AY Makun following the controversy surrounding an AI-generated video falsely depicting him kissing May Edochie, the estranged wife of actor Yul Edochie.
OAP Do2dtun has given his take on the viral video of AY Makun and May Edochie kissing in an AI generated video.
The video which circulated widely online, was debunked by the comedian in a public statement where he clarified that it was artificially generated and had no basis in reality.
However, the AI generated kissing sparked more speculation on AY and May, prompting OAP Do2dtun to share his thoughts on the matter.
In a heartfelt message, Do2dtun reassured AY Makun that he had done nothing wrong, emphasizing that both he and May are separated from their respective partners and have every right to pursue happiness including kissing. He also acknowledged AY’s contributions to the entertainment industry and urged him to stay focused despite the controversy.
His statement read:
