The Federal Government has officially completed the takeover of the Federal University of Applied Sciences in Kachia, Kaduna State.
The Vice President, Kashim Shettima, led the formal handover of the newly established university.
In December, Shettima revealed that President Bola Tinubu had approved the creation of a federal university in Southern Kaduna. A statement from Shettima’s spokesperson, Stanley Nkwocha, emphasized that the event was part of fulfilling President Tinubu’s promise to set up the university in the region.
The ceremony was attended by key figures including Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, and various other dignitaries such as Minister of Education Dr. Tunji Alausa, EFCC Chairman Ola Olukayode, and Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa.
