Self-proclaimed financial expert GehGeh has made startling revelations about the internal workings of The Honest Bunch Podcast, shedding light on some misconceptions about the show.
His comments come amid the ongoing clash between social media critic VeryDarkMan and comedian DeeOne, a feud that has further fueled controversy around the podcast.
According to GehGeh, contrary to popular belief, Nedu Wazobia is not the owner of the podcast but was merely contracted to host it. He further claimed that Nedu did not resign from the show but was actually dismissed.
“When I went there, I observed that Nedu wasn’t the owner of the podcast; he was on contract. He didn’t resign, he was sacked! The actual owner of the podcast was among the camera crew,” GehGeh alleged.
He also addressed speculation that the podcast is scripted, dismissing such claims. Instead, he argued that the show deliberately thrives on controversy and provocative discussions because, in his opinion, the average Nigerian audience is more drawn to sensational content than valuable information.
“Honest Bunch podcast capitalizes on negativity and controversy. They focus on provocative questions because Nigerians are not interested in quality information,” GehGeh said in his reflection on the Honest Bunch
