Expelled UNIZIK Student Rejects Apology To Lecturer
By Gideon Ayeni

Precious Mbakwe, the expelled student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), has stirred controversy with her response to a social media user advising her to apologize to the lecturer she assaulted.
Mbakwe gained attention after a viral video on various Nigeria news reports showed her physically attacking a lecturer who interrupted her while she was recording a dance video. Following an investigation by the university’s disciplinary committee, she was expelled from UNIZIK.
Despite her expulsion, Mbakwe appears unbothered, making a bold return to social media. Her comeback has sparked mixed reactions, with Facebook user Chinedu Makata criticizing her behavior and urging her to take responsibility for her actions.
Makata, in a strongly worded post, condemned Mbakwe’s attitude, stating that she should be ashamed of her actions instead of posting online. He emphasized that she owed the lecturer an apology and warned that her actions might have long-term consequences.
“PimPim, you should hide your head in shame. You trended for a really bad reason. Instead of burying your head in shame and apologizing to that lecturer you humiliated, you are here posting stupid videos. Only God will help you. Beauty without brains and character is useless,” Makata wrote.

He further questioned her upbringing, stating that a well-raised person would have been called to order by their family after such an incident.
However, Mbakwe dismissed his remarks with a short but defiant response, replying: “Trended?”
