Controversy As Female Content Creator Is Washed At Carwash (Video)
By Gideon Ayeni

A Nigerian female content creator has come under fire after a viral video showed her paying for a full-body wash at a carwash, sparking outrage online.
In the widely circulated clip, the content creator interrupted a group of teenagers washing a car and offered to pay three times the regular carwash fee to receive the same treatment. The workers accepted, and she was filmed being scrubbed and rinsed like a vehicle.
The stunt has ignited heated debates about the direction of content creation in Nigeria, with many questioning the limits of creativity. Popular Nigerian comedian Klinton Cod weighed in on the controversy by reposting the video and criticizing top influencers for promoting what he described as “nuisance content.”
Expressing his disappointment, Klinton Cod lamented the decline in creative standards and suggested that content creators should be registered and licensed to regulate the industry.

Supporting his stance, social media user @alsinasteve commented, “We’re losing our morals since social media started paying people… They can do anything for money and fame.”
Another user, @justice_crack, added, “I believe a revolution is coming in the content creation industry. If we all continue to call out bad content, things will change for the better over time.”
The viral video has since fueled conversations about the ethics of content creation and whether stricter guidelines should be enforced to curb extreme stunts for views and engagement.
