Afenifere Youth Leader’s Life In Danger Over Unpaid Ransom
By Benjamin Abioye

The kidnappers holding Afenifere Youth Leader, Prince Eniola Ojajuni, have increased their ransom demand, adding two tricycles to the initial N100 million they previously requested.
Reports indicate that the kidnappers raised their demands due to delays in meeting the original ransom, which they had requested over the weekend following the abduction of Prince Ojajuni.
Ojajuni was abducted last Monday while traveling between Ondo and Kogi states en route to Abuja. According to sources, his captors allegedly shot him and had earlier threatened to take his life by 3 p.m. if the ransom was not paid.
A distressing video circulating on social media showed Ojajuni pleading for financial assistance while an armed kidnapper pointed an AK-47 rifle at his chest escalating worrisome news about travelling on Nigerian roads.
“Nigerians, please help me! Your donation—N100,000, N50,000, or N1,000,000—can go a long way in saving my life. My name is Prince Eniola Ojajuni. God bless you. Aderohunmu, please help me spread this video,” he pleaded.
Providing an update on the situation, a leader of the socio-cultural group, Kayode Ojodu, confirmed that the kidnappers had extended the deadline after allowing Ojajuni to speak with his wife.
“No, he was not kidnapped in Abuja. He was kidnapped between Ondo and Kogi states while on his way to Abuja. I have just got information that he was allowed to speak to his wife today and that they have extended the deadline to 3 p.m. tomorrow for the money to be paid or they kill him,” Ojodu stated.
