Popular Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, has been hit by yet another devastating loss, just days after announcing the passing of her beloved father.
The actress, who took to social media to share the heartbreaking news of her father’s death few days ago, is now mourning the loss of a close friend, Egy. Ini Edo had earlier described her father as her “first love” and “greatest cheerleader,” expressing deep sorrow over his passing.
In a fresh wave of grief, the actress took to her page to express shock over Egy’s sudden death, revealing that he was actively supporting her just weeks ago as she prepared for her father’s funeral.
Sharing her pain, Ini Edo wrote:
“I still cannot believe that I am typing this. Just a few weeks ago, you were rallying friends for my father’s funeral, only for me to wake up and hear you are gone. Egy, this one pain me oooooo. Rest in the bosom of God, my dear friend. I have lost one of the few real friends I’ve ever had. They say when it rains, it pours… hmmmmmm.”
The back-to-back losses have left the actress heartbroken, with fans and colleagues flooding her page with messages of condolences and support.
