Why We Ran Away, Omo-Agege’s Former Houseboy Mocks Ex-DSP
By Imman Onyero

Erstwhile secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Delta State Otunba Nick Ovuakporie has mocked the party’s 2023 governorship candidate Senator Ovie Omo-Agege as the ruler of a fallen empire deserted by his houseboys and house girls.
Replying to Omo-Agege’s depiction claim that he is a nobody and inappropriate choice as secretary of the party in the state, Otunba Ovuakporie noted with irony that the same man was consequential in helping him, Omo-Agege obtain the structures of the party in the state.
GWG.ng reports that Ovuakporie and other loyalists of Omo-Agege who were dubbed by Olorogun Festus Keyamo as houseboys and house girls of the former Deputy President of the Senate have deserted his camp in recent years.
Speaking on Monday as he ended his statewide tour of Delta State on Monday in Isoko North, Omo-Agege was quoted as lambasting the erstwhile state secretary of the APC who defected to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP just before the 2023 governorship election serving a major blow to the APC.
Responding to Omo-Agege in a statement obtained by GWG.ng, Ovuaokporie said:
“The individual you condemned as an inappropriate choice and a non-entity, despite his vital role in assisting you in establishing the party structure that you struggled to maintain and is now faltering from your grasp, hindered you from executing your planned imperialistic conquest.
“This same person, along with others whom your political rival derogatorily called your “Houseboy and House girls,” played a crucial role in securing the foundation that granted you entry into power.
“The same man whom you have disrespected and tacitly opposed due to your uncontrolled animosity towards the Isoko people and the repercussions of your unstatesmanly actions is beyond redemption. The sheer irony of the situation is undeniable.
“You, who have descended into the role of a self-centered and boastful ruler of a fallen empire, are nothing more than an ungrateful and egotistical sovereign. Am I not then powerful?”
GWG.ng reports that the response from Ovuakporie to Omo-Agege follows the increasing friction within the party with many of those once dubbed as houseboys of the former senator leaving his political household for the tendency inspired by Keyamo.
