Angry Residents Storm Ondo Governor’s Office Over Farmers’ Deaths
By Benjamin Abioye

Protesters in Ondo have stormed the governor’s office, demanding justice after suspected herdsmen allegedly killed five farmers in Akure North.
Protests have broken out in Ondo State as angry residents stormed the office of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in Alagbaka, Akure.
The demonstration follows the killing of five farmers by suspected armed herdsmen.
The attack reportedly happened on Wednesday morning in Aba Oyinbo, Akure North. Protesters, filled with grief and anger, carried the bodies of the victims to the governor’s office, demanding justice.
The unrest has also spread to the Akure-Owo highway at Ogbese, where demonstrators have blocked the road, leaving many motorists stranded.
Earlier this month, similar violent clashes led to multiple fatalities in a reprisal attack on four communities in Akure North Local Government Area.
Authorities are working to restore calm as tensions remain high across the state.
