A Nigerian man who was left heartbroken after his girlfriend dumped him for giving her only ₦200,000 out of his ₦450,000 and refusing to engage in internet fraud has shared new messages showing her begging him to take her back.
The young man had earlier taken to X (formerly Twitter) to narrate how his ex-girlfriend, Abike, ended their relationship because she felt he was not generous enough and refused to do yahoo despite her encouragement. His emotional distress over the breakup reportedly led to his hospitalization, sparking sympathy and debate online.
