2027: The One Candidate Tinubu’s Camp Truly Fears Revealed!

Chief Dele Momodu has revealed that only former President Goodluck Jonathan has the capacity to rival Tinubu in 2027, but he has not shown any desire to contest.

Former presidential aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Dele Momodu, has pointed out that only one person from the South could truly compete with President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election — former President Goodluck Jonathan. However, he believes Jonathan is unlikely to throw himself back into the political spotlight.

Momodu said Jonathan has already achieved more than he ever imagined in his political career and may not want to go through the stress of campaigning again. “No Southern candidate can take on Tinubu except a Goodluck Jonathan, for example. But I doubt if he would want to stress himself,” he said.

He described the former president as a man who is satisfied and thoughtful. “He’s not the kind of person; you can see that he’s a man of contentment, and he’s an intellectual who believes that even where he got to, he never expected to get to that level. So, it might be difficult for him,” he added.

Momodu also noted that the only other politician the ruling camp is clearly worried about is former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. He claimed that efforts are already underway to weaken Atiku’s image ahead of the next elections. “The only man they fear, and that’s why they’re already demarketing him in advance, is Atiku Abubakar,” he concluded.
