A woman was exposed while plotting to kill her husband, the father of her four children, to inherit his shop.

The incident came to light after a video surfaced on social media showing the woman approaching a Babalawo (herbalist) in Ibadan to help orchestrate her husband’s death.

According to reports, the woman visited the herbalist, demanding he perform rituals that would cause her husband to die in a fatal accident. The herbalist, however, refused her request and advised her against such evil intentions. Undeterred, the woman threatened to find another means if the Babalawo didn’t comply.

In a bid to prevent the crime, the herbalist took the matter to Agidigbo FM, a popular radio station in Ibadan, where the station’s host set up a live call with the woman. Believing she was speaking privately with the herbalist in his shrine, the woman detailed her plan to have her husband killed the next day on his way to work, expressing her desire to take over his shop and run the business. She had no idea the conversation was being broadcast live on air.

Some users even linked the incident to the controversial death of Nigerian singer, Mohbad, who passed away on September 12, 2023. Many have questioned the involvement of his wife, Omowunmi, in his death, citing the disturbing radio confession as evidence that even family members could have malicious motives.

Mohbad’s death has remained shrouded in mystery, with numerous speculations surrounding it. The fresh revelations from the radio incident have reignited these discussions, as netizens draw parallels between the two situations.

As investigations into both cases continue, the public is left shocked by the depths of deceit and greed that have been exposed.
