Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has sparked controversy following her elaborate birthday message to Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu.

In an Instagram post, Eniola showered glowing praises on Seyi Tinubu, describing him as a visionary leader, a youth ambassador, and a beacon of hope for Nigeria’s young generation. She further hailed him as the “King of Boys,” “Oju Eko” (Eye of Lagos), and “Prince of the Villa,” among other flattering titles.

While the tribute from Eniola was intended to celebrate Seyi Tinubu, it quickly drew criticism from social media users. Many accused the actress of engaging in “eye service” and pandering to the powerful, with some suggesting that her praise was insincere and politically motivated.

Additionally, Eniola received an award from the APC Youth Stakeholders Forum, which she dedicated to Nigerian youths who, like her, supported the “Renewed Hope” mantra despite facing harsh criticism.

While her loyalty to the Tinubus remains steadfast, Eniola’s public display of affection for the President’s son has only fueled further debate about her motivations, with many wondering whether her actions are driven by personal belief or political gain.
